What was the highlight of Grand Sovia Hotel
not recommended
Just outlook of the hotel look's grand and new. Food was good although coffee cup was dirty.
No security officer spotted. No hospitality, no one welcomes you at the main entrance. Bit confused once enter the main door because from main door receptionist bit distance and just quiet and never noticed arrival of guests. In the room bed was noisy and upper floor doing some maintenance works for hour's creating nocking sounds. Never stops although complain twice to front desk by phone. and finally toilet.....

Expected bit more for what I paid but stay was OK and breakfast was good
Location was great, right in front of the train station and shops. Free ample parking, and enjoyed the breakfast selection.
The bathroom wasn't that clean, the towel hanger in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall off. The air conditioner leaked in the middle of the night. The pictures of the property were too good to be true.

Grand Sovia Hotel
Location is really good as it is close to the train station. Room is big, and they have hair dryer in the bathroom. It's quite clean and the dining room is big as well.
Staff is not so friendly, in fact it seems unprofessional to me. It took a while for checking in and checking out. They also ask 100k IDR for deposit - as far as I know only few hotels ask for deposit. Nothing special about the breakfast.

Good stay near the train station
The room we we're staying in had a leaky window whenever it rained which meant we ended up with a puddle in the room. The air con also leaked. The breakfast was standard and nothing special.staff were friendly enough and the location was good as it was close to the train station.
